Established in 1978, Academy Tiles is Australia’s leading supplier of creative tiles, unique mosaics, decorative wood and wallpaper. I helped re-brand this iconic Australian brand with a new identity that best reflects it’s edgy attributes.
The journey began with a strategic approach to the identity suite which included logos, colours, fonts, applications and art direction. Following this, I begun wire framing the website and applying the new design direction to help suit Academy’s new digital landscape.

Once the Academy brand was established and approved, we moved into wire-framing a new digital experience for the brand by building a new website that would allow users to shortlist a range of tiles and place orders online.
From desktop to mobile I worked closely with multiple stakeholders to gain a further understanding of the website role and responsibility. From the wire-framing stages I then moved into designing the mobile sites first user-flow from homepage to product page.
Once the mobile user flow design was completed I then moved on to design the entire desktop and mobile site.
